    3. Fixed. And there was a discussion if it really would be 1N43A due to silkscreen label on the original pcb. I'm fairly certain it's a typo and the classic germanium 1N34A is more than suitable. I bet any Ge would be fine. Also. The 120K/82K junction is another question. However, i'm fairly certain there's no audible difference between these approximations and the original.

    3. Almost certainly only because of cost does he use the bat46 now vs the bat41 which were used in the zen drive bat46 being the cheaper one to buy

it's a zen drive for the part of the circuit and the original uses bat41 diodes so you can decide for yourself as either will work

  5. F*it. There's still one cut missing from ic pin 8 row. I'll fix it later today. This is what you'll get when you're trying to beat everyone else to the layout the second the schem is out.

    1. Seriously! I've had one sitting in my Reverb cart for weeks, and was just about to pull the trigger on it.

Best Fourth of July ever, thank you!

  7. Verified! Volume 1 and 3 need flipped and Gain is backwards also. Does that mean Gain 2&3 should be top and Gain 1 goes to were gain 3 is now? I'll change them now. Mine does seem quite noisy but it is unboxed.

    1. Changed. Gain 1&2 needs to swap with Gain 3. Sounds similar to the vid but my playing is soooooo no way as good. It probably needs shielded wire as background hiss is quite loud.

    2. You probably had an older image version with the volume pot leads? I swapped the gain labels and tagged it! Cheers!
